Whole Fish

A collection of coral reef fish portraits.

Fish are probably what most people think of when you mention coral reef ecosystems and indeed they are the first things to get your attention when you dive, either by their abundance or by their absence. Fish species variety and ratio of adults to juveniles are indicators of the health of a reef ecosystem and there varied colour, morphology and behavior are a good part of the reason I Love to dive and photograph the reef.

This collection gives an impression of the variation in form and function to be found amongst the fish of the tropical coral reef.
