Caribbean Views
Several collections of images made on various caribbean islands.
The islands of the lesser Antilles, lie along a line that separates the caribbean sea from the southern most part of the Northern Atlantic ocean. This chain of small island nations is approximately 480 nautical miles long, running in a kinked line along longitude approx. 062 degrees west from 19 degrees North to 11 degrees North. There proximity to the equator means that these islands have year round sun with a daytime temperature always in the mid 80s. The sea and ocean is warm to swim in and it is always hot, steamy and very very tropical.
All the collections in this sub gallery have caribbean islands of the lesser Antilles group as there central theme. The different collections either focus on a particular photographic technique, a caribbean subject common across the islands or on the landscape and scenery typical of a specific named island.
